Goal: To make
our local Grange communities a more vital and viable place by
encouraging visible Grange projects and events that are worthwhile,
fill a community need and make the best use of the interests and
abilities of the Grange members.

sharing with others, food contributions at the 2009 State Grange Session Meet the Candidates Night years of dedication in the community by Sylvan Grange members, Addie Ketchum, Joe Ketchum, Henry Baker, Vincent Vail & Mildred Beasimer ......donating dictionaries to 3rd graders to further their education ...placing flags on the Veterans' graves at the local cemetery.

The National Grange provides cash
prizes for the best community service reports submitted in each state.
Starting in 2009 New York State Grange will be given prizes for first,
second, third and honorable mention. The New York State Grange also has
categories based on the number of members in the Grange: 1-25 members,
26-50 members and 51 and over members.
Applications and directions are
available from Debbie Vail or from NYS Grange Headquarters.
